Districts like the Plaza District and Auto Alley are why I choose this city, and when I got the opportunity to show them off in photos, I was all over it.
Quit Nguyen: Year One - Part 1
My first year of officially being in business is coming to an end.
2014 was supposed to be a shitty year for anyone born in the "Year of the Horse." I also hear it's not supposed to be a bad year, just a more intense one. 2014 has been crazy. It's had its ups and downs, but mostly ups. It was my first full year in business as Quit Nguyen, LLC.
I do a lot of people watching. It's funny because when I first started photography, I just wanted to make cool photos. Now, it's a tool for me to communicate. I'm not good with words. I speak better with pictures. Here's my year in photos.
I watched people:
Lose things.
Overcome obstacles.
Love.
A lot of our friends are in it.
New friends, old friends, stronger bonds, strong partnerships, clients.
Everyone had a role.
I watched people:
Follow their dreams.
Roxy's Ice Cream Social
Twist Gourmet Pretzels
Make cool shit.

Mid-September Update
Since last time
And the holy grail of street photography. The Oklahoma State Fair: Where your child will leave in tears.
Then you take them to Wiggle Out Loud so they can smile again.
I'm off to Austin, TX for Mondo-Con this weekend. I'll try and update more often. Blogging has become a little tough since picking up the new part-timer at The Plaza District. We've been busy busy gearing up for The Plaza District Festival on Saturday, Sept. 27th.
I'm also planning some cool stuff for the rest of the year including an art show at Tree & Leaf, some more #WesternScout stuff, and more personal work. Stay connected: Follow me on Twitter & Instagram.
Mid-August Update
From the Yelpies to Live on the Plaza, August has been super EVENTful.
Blue Seven and the Clad Stache had a cool Back to School Bash featuring the Sugar Free All Stars
House sat for JPS and took a dip in her pool with some friends.
And finally, I attended an "award show" in the Plaza District and photographed my buddy Ryan Drake's live comedy show.
